This Audi A1 Clubsport quattro Concept which was shown at the Wörthersee Tour 2011 was powered by a highly-modified 2.5 liter, five-cylinder TFSI unit with an output of 503 PS (370 kW / 496 bhp) and 660 Nm (486.79 lb-ft) of torque.

That proves that Audi can fit the 2.5 liter TFSI unit into the A1's engine bay with a quattro system and a six-speed manual gearbox too. But output will likely be dialed to much less than the 340 PS (250 kW / 335 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb ft) of torque of the 2.5 TFSI unit on the Audi TT-RS and RS3 models.

The Audi RS1 will launch in 2012.

Na razie to niczym nie potwierdzone plotki. Myślę, że na 99% audi nie wsadzi 2.5 TFSI do audi RS1, bo kto by wtedy kupił RS3. Z bardziej realnych newsów jakie pojawiają się w sieci to Audi S1 1.4 TFSI (twin charging, silnik Polo GTi) ok 180KM i RS1 2.0 TFSI ok 250KM (silnik S3, Golf R).
