For esthetic side of thin , you can do whatever you want  , cover it with carbon fiber cloth or , pain it , you can secure it with tick copper wire  , malt  them in plastic  , you can find in  cable  for TV antenna , cover the gaps with two component glue and it will never brake .

Mario, My work has been completed to the stage of Rosomak91. The Audi has been tested and is ready for use. So far I have done 100 km, oil consumption is not known yet, it is an old used engine,he's been through a lot, it may eat some oil. I may also connect variable valve timing to the car.
