a. próba statyczna

warunki konieczne: samochód stoi na biegu jałowym; silnik włączony; robocza temperatura silnika - temperatura płynu chłodzącego min. 80*C [czyli 90*C na wskaźniku deski rozdzielczej].

grupy normalnie: 000, 001, 003, 004, 007, 013, 014, 018, 023.

grupy Basic Settings: 000, 003, 004, 011:

- grupa 000 > basic settings: logować całość przez ok. 20s;

- grupa 003 > basic settings: logować całość przez ok. 50s [zawór recyrkulacji spalin [EGR] będzie się cyklicznie otwierać i zamykać];

- grupa 004 > basic settings: logować całość przez ok. 50s [pompa będzie się cyklicznie przestawiać].

W przypadku tej grupy ważne jest, by wcisnąć przycisk LOG w chwili, gdy nastawnik ustawi się na Late [będzie to widać w polu drugim], a następnie, natychmiast rozpocząć logowanie przyciskiem START

b. próba dynamiczna

warunki konieczne: samochód jedzie; robocza temperatura silnika - temperatura płynu chłodzącego min. 80*C [czyli 90*C na wskaźniku deski rodzielczej]; III bieg [choć lepiej IV - należy wziąć pod uwagę względy bezpieczeństwa w ruchu ulicznym], przy 1500rpm należy całkowicie wcisnąć pedał gazu [100%]* i trwać aż silnik uzyska 4200rpm; w tym czasie należy dokonać odczyty i zrobić log.

próba dynamiczna powinna być bezwględnie wykonana przez dwie osoby - kierowcę i diagnostę.
