  4. Hello , does anyone know exect OEM part number for a/c kompresor for ALT engines ? If you do , please post ithere i would like to be shure thet it fits . My OEM died , it push true piston true his shell or armor , probebyly bicouse i drive it to fast constantly and it was to old , then change it with Nissen a/c kompresor and radiator , but lather we find out filters was oem , not changed , sistem not flushed ,i dident even know there is filters , Nissen died after almost a two years and you can se dark spots on radiatr. I did get a new one denso but the guy who repers AC sistem , wosh sistem , change filters run a ac 2 hours and more to see if there is any debrie change a kompresor but dident change a radiator and he told me its a risk , he took the risk if eny is debrie in radiator , all the job is in wain , why dident he change a radiator i don know , he dident wont to took my money , he just sayd to me , drive it , we will be in touch ,les then two weeks later kompresor died again , so now i try to find OEM so i can renew it and change again now with radiator .

    If i'm not mistaken its from b7 , but maybe im wrong , maybe its from newer year of b6 , all ALT B6 i saw was orange . I have my b6 from 2009.

    I dont know how its black it shoud be orange OEM , but if is newer production OEM there is no more orange itd yellow . And why bother just buy new oem it shoud be few euro
  14. I will follow this topic , so meny updates , way to go , i can see that you love this car . Only i would remove a quattro sign i think its not for b6 . This blue color with black , look is for a gold medal . I wish you many hapy kilometers with this beutiful car.

  16. For LPG a good technician is always the most important, even the worst gas brand will work perfectly if the gas technician is good , even when instalation is not exectly for thet type of engine .

  18. I don't have but sound nice, nothing too much but you get a good sound, nothing exaggerated, but you get a beautiful rear end for a little money , let say 200 euros for everything , instalation , parts ect.

You need one exhoust muffler (better OEM if you need it make a road leagal like in Croatia ) , muffler carrier , heat protection , somting like aluminium bolts for heat protection 5 pices , buy it new OEM , then 1.8 t or s4 b6 lower part of rear bumper. Heat protection can be for anything in Audi , it is flexible. 100 mm rear extension for muffler . A pay second hand muffler + lower part for bummper 1.8 t a 70 euros And of course ad a new pipe in exhoust shop .
  20. This is a one of the best equipt ALT B6 in Europe , for sure , i read the whole topic , well done. I have also a ALT B6 with i bouth it in 2009 and i still drive it . Oil comsuption was always the problem ( inginiers mistakes on perpose , 90' tehnology , trying to make it fuel eficency ect. ) ,unfortunately in Europe i don't think we have like in USA control for car market i forgot how it callied , and if its a construction mistake manufacturer must fix the problem for free or it will be cannelled. Mine alweys consumes 0.5 liter or maybe little more if you drive faster , but Audi OEM service says its normal , ''qoute'' 0 , 75 dcl( Liter) or more if you you drive faster , 1 liter of oil on 1000 kn is ok , above somting is not right . So I was always curious about why it was hairy oil, several times whether there was a measure to confine, which knows what I needed a few more times to take my head seal if the somting is visable, noting , runs well still today. So like i said i got exited again to solve a oil consuption . And my friend from Serbia find this video and send it to me So if i understood correctly true bronzer google translate , the engineering mistake was in compression rings they are to thin it should be bigger or thicker or fat 1. Upper compression ring 1.2 mm vs. OEM 1 mm 2. Lower compression ring 1.5 vs .OEM does not mention 3. Ring with oil scraping 2.0 mm vs. 1.5 mm and it says thet mistake is solved from 2012 yer cars. It should be double checked because translation , maybe with someone who speaks russian For example if you take apart your engine it not expensive to change alot of things , like valve gasket or rubber i dont know the word on english , Crankshaft bearing set , all engin hed set and exaust gasket in manifactures like Ajusa , Febi , KOLBENSCHMIDT and MAHLE for 400 to 600 euros maybe less + mehanic all around 1000 euros i asked my mehanic . Its a little long post but what i can do , so maybe your next mod would be quattro , not hard to do , my frend did it from automatic station wagon fwd to quattro . Countless happy kilometers with him.

    I change the fuel filter every oil change, so every 10 thousand kilometers, it is not necessary, but since it costs nothing I changing it. So , filter oil , fueil oil , and all the rest filters you need for regular service allways buy Mayle Mahle Febi Man Valeo Bosch , but i heard their quality is going does down the hill . I try all the products from company i listed above . For me always Male or Mahle , the best quality for sure in all products you need for regular servis every 10 k km .
  25. Not thet is not an oil, just dirt from the system. My case, I changed antifreez and put on a new antifreeze container, I drove for a while, I mean a month or two and then the dirt appeared. I change Antifreez again a new antifreez tank and now all is well. So its a some kind of dirt , im talking about my car ,it is a possible that old owner long time ago pour some sealant in radiator , maybe , just maybe , but i did change a radiator , so maybe some dirt left and end up in my container , or its just normal sistem dirt , a normal bicause its an old car . It may be best to wash the system with some liquid for that, I don't know what's liquid name, but as my mechanic told me to say with that liquid you drive for a week and then that wash the system for you and then you change the antifreez again and put a new container. Never put a sealant in the car , better fix it . At least the aftermarket part for him is cheap , even a premium Nissens is 110 -160 euro for engine radiator , 80 - 140 euro for Nissens for air condition radiator , this is for example .
