Cool , provide some link so others can buy , when you google TurboHub you get , world fastest caculator and some other shit -
Its very nice , looking good so they make that km/h cluster from scratch , if it is so , you should add 300 km/h Iit wood be cool , becouse b6 dont even have digit 8 on the rpm cluster its 7 and red line Please send me a link of that company if it is not a problem.

Yes , Audi connects people , everybody is willing to help , i love that . Maybe or probably there is some upgrade on B7 ALT because is a newer model , but do anyone knows what ? . Can you send me on pm the link of that topic , i like to read it , because long time a go i speak to lots of German , Polish people , ect some of them had warranty because they buy the car brand new , other just replace i gouges worn out parts but the same , and problem stayed , of course it stayed because the parts are the same only new . It is clear that Audi did it on purpose , is it build from left over parts from other projects , is it in that time old technology or new technology for that time big 2.0 Liter for let's say family car and they try to keep less fuel consumption , keep it running cooler , something like that , of course I'm guessing because i m not expert . So we can ask ourselves is it that this , the people who try to fix it , just put the same but new parts , did anybody put ticker pistons rings , or not , did they find out something more to stop or reduce a oil consumption , except standard , valve seals etc . My car all his life is on 5w 40 Catrlol , one year was on shell , then i tried castrol 10w 60 , and no reduce , now liquid molly 5 w 40 the and it consume it less the 10 w 60 . It costumes 0.5 L ON 1000 km i like to one day open it up end completely and try to do what the dude in Russian YouTube says ,( he gave me a little hope that is possible) , i think that with cost of mechanics labor renew hed , change every seals , gaskets , ect except camshaft and pistons if they are strait not curved its around 1000 euros , or if some did everything like that and it still consumes oil , then this engine is unfixable and maybe the best idea is to buy second hand renew engine , some who doesn't consume oil , maybe who'll second hand car like 1.8 T crashed , or some other engine , with same power ol little more but without oil burrning , only need contract that you buy the car to A test it to be legal on the road at least in Croatia. So your ALT not costumes oil or its consumes ? If consumes, how much on how many kilometers ? I do like your car , and i will keep following the topic , i can see it's loved .

I'm amazed , you hard work , adding equipment , and knowledge is huge . And you did all the work your self , that sometimes knows to be frustrating ( ask me how i know ),but in the end it gives you so much relief and pleasure when you're done the job by yourself , and happiness. I did read this topic from first to last page , so many details , it's a shame that so many pictures from this topic disperse . I see you didn't post for a long time , but i hope you will renew this topic , make it live again , endless happy kilometers with your car. i did read this topic from first to last page , so many details ,

You update your theme only five years lather : D , its a nice car , with oil consuming angine m i have mine in b6 from 2009 when i purchase a car . Did you see this video , ( translate it with add on google translate for browsers , or just YouTube language settings ) it claims that pistons rings are to thin from the factory and if you change them to a ticker one it will stops to consume oil , of course if everything else is ok , like valve little rubbers , straight pistons , ect . you can see below my comment and their answer . Sonner or lather i will do this change , just to see if its stops oil burn out. Countless happy kilometers with your car , enyoj driving it.

Very nice B6 , love it , I didn't get what ab S button do ? Many happy kilometers with him . -
Hello , yesterday i did find an oil dip stick from donor car I buy only for dash it was newer b6 I think 2003, and it had black dip stick. Mine is left 2.0 .20 V ALT and it's a 1 cm shorter than 2.0 fsi Deep stick , don't mind the picture I did measure it with meter. So mine ALT was 55 , 5 cm vs. 2.0 FSI 56,5 cm.

When you have the chance now , change 2 x filter of air-condition , one is 2- 3 euro in the tube , other 30 -40 euro , wash the system , fil it up with new gas is around 40 euro , somting like thet et least in Croatia i did have a new offer from mechanics few day ago because i have a little bit drama with air condition and stupidity of people . -
On the first i wood check gearbox mount ,maybe rubber fell apart inside or mount broke One time i did break the tip of where it screws goes on a big mount and rubber was old, and it fell apart when i broke of just a tiny bit od big mount you could hear and feel how all gearbox and engine moves when you slow down or start to accelerate .
-
Buy original pins , AliExpress pins or similar are bad , bat quality it will break after a month or two i know i did buy it all from Alie Express ,and then give them away with some of my old OEM bolts , and then i did buy all buckles and pins new OEM , it is expensive but it wort it . In front of the lower center grill, there is a three pins shorter than the rest of pins , This one bolt cost almost 7 euro Like i said, i did buy all of them new , and some pins more then once because stupid mechanics didn't have a 2 second of their time to put it properly , If you twist it properly it need little twist and you can hit it , scrape it and it won't fool out if you twist it gently in the buckle , with the short screwdriver or best 2 , 5 , 10 cents coin This short pin have a rubber gasket , you put gasket between bumper and protective engine plastic Screenshot PRNT.SC Captured with Lightshot This b6 doesn't have bolts like that , and buckles similar shape of buckels but hole is not the same , buckle OEM on protective plastic are different size some small some bigger i cant remember , two or four are bigger then the rest .
